Description:
The first stories about Babar, the Elephant King, were created in the early 30ies of the last century and soon became global children’s books classics. In 1989 an animated TV show followed with similar success.
Meanwhile Babar has a grandson, the 8-year old Badou, around whom the new series centers. Badou and his group of friends roam through the lush exotics of Celesteville and encounter the exciting challenging aspects of growing up in the royale palace.
Babar is never far when his grandson needs guidance and sometimes discovers solutions to his own problems as King by observing the younger generation.
It is a story that will appeal to both young and old and one that speaks to the importance of diversity, acceptance and strong family values.
