Comic book hero from US American DC Comics. The first Green Lantern made its debut back in July 1940 in the “All-American Comics” #16. Since then, quite a few persons appeared to be the Green Lantern. The most famous of them is Hal Jordan, having his first appearance in October 1959 in Comic Showcase #22. Green Lantern will see its theatrical release in 3D in 2011.
