The fantastic journey of sea turtle Sammy who travels the world on his quest for his true love.

Shortly after sea turtle Sammy is hatched on the beach of California, he meets his true love, sweet Shelly and loses track of her only a moment later.
On his journey across the ocean, a journey all sea turtles undertake before they return to their home beach, Sammy braves all dangers hoping to see his beloved Shelly again.
Together with his closest friend Ray, a leatherback turtle, he experiences first hand how humankind destroys nature and how they sometimes protect endangered species. He fights piranhas, escapes a sea eagle and searches for a mysterious hidden place.
One day, after all his adventures, Sammy finally meets Shelly. And she never stopped thinking of him, too…
