Spirit - Stallion of the Cimarron is an animation from 2002 created by DreamWorks Pictures, USA. The feature film directed by Kelly Asbury and Lorna Cook revolves around the stirring adventures of a wild and headstrong stallion living in the wide plains of America.

The fierce stallion resists every attempt of taming and domestication. Only when the Lakota boy Little Creek treats him with respect instead of bearing him down, they develop a wonderful friendship. During their adventures Spirit has to show his courage, becomes a hero and finds love in the end. Songs by Bryan Adams and Oscar-winning Hans Zimmer perfectly underline this beautiful animation.
