Description:
The Abrafaxes created by Lothar Dräger and Lona Rietschel are the heroes of the comic magazine MOSAIK. The Abrafaxes are made up of the three goblin-like characters Abrax, Brabax and Califax, and they experience new adventures all over the world. Since 1976, the Abrafaxes have been the world's longest running serial comic and are even in the Guinness Book of Records. The Abrafaxes resemble a small-sized character, but differ in their hair and their individual characters. Abrax has a rather athletic figure with blond hair and is bold and daredevil. Due to his past as a mercenary, he has a penchant for combat. Brabrax, on the other hand, solves challenges more scientifically and rationally, as he is very educated. His hair is red and his hairstyle resembles a mushroom head. Califax is the smallest of the three Abrafaxes and, because of his cosy, clumsy nature and fondness for food, he is also somewhat fatter than the other two. But all three of them are always striving to be right. In 2001, a film about the Abrafaxes was released.
