Based on the children's book series of the same name by Enid Blyton, there are several films and a radio play about the exciting life of Hanni and Nanni at Lindenhof boarding school. The first part was released in 2010, followed by the sequel in 2012 and the third part in 2013. A fourth part of the series followed in 2016, but with different actresses. The twins Hanni and Nanni are expelled from school. As a result, their mother wants to send them to Lindenhof boarding school, which the two are anything but thrilled about. At first, Hanni doesn't want to stay at the school, but Nanni quickly settles in and discovers her passion for music. When Hanni finally joins the school's field hockey team, the two experience many exciting adventures at Lindenhof. But they also have to deal with everyday things like boys, catfights and school stress.
