The Famous Fives were originally made famous by one of the most successful children's authors Enid Blyton. She wrote many volumes about the five friends Julian, Dick, Anne, George, who is actually called Georgina but would much rather be a boy, and Timmy the dog. The children experience exciting adventures together, hunt down criminals and are always underestimated by the adults. Based on the books, there was later a radio play, a TV series and, since 2012, a movie series that has been a hit with young and old alike.
